What is a Nebosh IGC? The NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (IGC) is an essential qualification for anyone working in or wanting to work in safety & health anywhere in the world.
Why NEBOSH Certification? Those who working in health and safety are often required to hold the appropriate NEBOSH qualification for their job role, and for many, career progression is closely linked to enhanced NEBOSH qualifications.
Scope of NEBOSH in Globe? The research conducted by NEBOSH found that: 38% of positions asked for a NEBOSH Certificate level qualification, up from 33% last year and 30% in 2015. 92% of job roles asked for either some form of NEBOSH qualification and/or Membership of IOSH, up by 4% from 88% in 2017. Many of the health and safety management roles advertised also included responsibilities for environmental and quality management as revealed in the last few years of research.

IGC 1 and IGC 2 are theory papers and written examination which will be held at Abad Plaza in Cochin under surveillance of British council officials.
IGC 3 is a practical application and a project has to be made and this report needs to be sent to NEBOSH in U.K. within 7 days after examination.
