BSc MM: The course consists of the elements of the degree program provided by UGC Recognized University which consists of six semesters which covers topics like fundamentals of graphics, desktop publishing, digital art photography, advertising, fundamentals of web designing &javascript, HTML basics, 2D Animation, flash website design, 3D introduction and advanced, video introduction, digital editing, sound editing, script writing and story boarding, realistic concept of animation and special effects, etc.
Diploma Contents:
Pre-Production:
This process begins by an idea/concept and it involves refining the story into a screen presentable format as a screenplay. This follows designing and illustrating characters and environments leading all the way up to a storyboard which is a visual representation of your film as a sequence of sketches. In this programme, you get to learn a lot of things from basic illustration to human anatomy, from clay sculpting to understanding the Basis of Photography. In short, you set the basis for your beginning your production .Finally, through a workshop on Animatics learn to put your sketches on a timeline and create a short movie.
Learning Digital Imagery:
You are introduced to Computer Graphics and Digital Imagery using Adobe Photoshop. This enables you to create your own digital Artwork.
Production:
3D Animation and Visual Effects using Autodesk Maya:
Here, the students are introduced to 3D Animation & Visual Effects techniques using Autodesk Maya where they learn the usage of this application and understand the various Skills that go into creating an animated masterpiece. This Stage sets the ground for specialization tracks to follow. Here students learn the following skills of 3D Animation and visual effects.

Digital Sculpting using Autodesk Mudbox and Pixologic Z-Brush:
Students are made to learn sculpting capabilities and how to completely integrate it with Autodesk Maya.
Environment Creation using VUE :
Vue being the latest trend of creating dynamic backgrounds, popularly used in one of the biggest movies like Avatar, is in great demand these days. Students will learn many tricks of this software.
Post Production:
Digital Compositing and Motion Graphics using Adobe After Effects:
Here the students get to learn Motion Graphics as well Digital Compositing techniques using After Effects. The Students are explained all the details related to frame size, composition, frame rates, motion, key framing and basic timing as well as a good deal about colour sense. Students learn all the Skills like how to Render Layers, Compositing & Colour Correction.
Basic Editing Skills using Adobe Premiere:
This Stage aims at covering basic editing skills which helps the students in creating their demo reels in the end.
Introduction to Sound Editing/Composition :
The students are introduced to sound composition using loops, simple track layouts etc.thus making the importance of sound clear in Production.
Particles and Dynamics using Real Flow
Demo reel Compilation & Final Presentation :
At the end of the course, you will compile your works as per your specialization and create a demo reel which showcases your skill set.
